Genesis 1

God creates the heavens, world, animals, and man in just 6 days.
Day 1 – He creates light and darkness
Day 2 – He creates the world itself
Day 3 – He creates land, seas, grass, plants and fruits
Day 4 – God creates the sun and the moon to mark the days, years, and bring about the seasons
Day 5 – He creates fish and birds
Day 6 – He creates animals, and wildlife. Then God said “Let us make men in our image, in our likeness” and God made man.

Notes of interest:

Since God doesn’t create the sun nor moon nor stars until the 4th day, we obviously cannot consider a day 24 hours (or 1 revolution of earth) can we? We don’t know how fast earth would be spinning up til this point since the universe hadn’t been created yet.

God says in every English translation I can find that He makes men in our image. He is implying multiple gods. However he could be talking about the Holy Trinity (that seems farfetched). This point of interest is going on my list of questions to be answered later.

Genesis 1 26-28 repeats how God made man like Himself. It just keeps saying the same thing over and over. This must be real important. First it tells me that God is male, second it tells me that God must be human like (Jesus?)
